The films have been selected! Let’s do a quick recap of our competitions

Over 2,500 films were submitted to this year’s competitions. Our programming department has selected 105 of them for you to enjoy in our six competitions and other programmes. You have a lot to look forward to.

In the European BOO and Czech-German BOO competitions, the winners are selected by international juries composed of experienced film professionals. – Don’t worry, we’ll introduce them soon. 

In the other competitions, carefully selected groups of audience members who participate in intensive audience development programmes get to decide which films will be awarded. In the mini BOO, these are young participants aged 4 to 8; in the 12+BOO, viewers aged 12 to 14; in the 15+BOO, students aged 15 to 19; and in the BOO for the Elder and Wiser, participants aged 60 and older.
