Designed for film industry.

The International Industry Forum invites professionals from all areas of the film industry to the largest Czech industry program dedicated to audience development and audiovisual education. Thanks to its unique interactive format, you can look forward to active participation, inspiration, and sharing experiences with other experts from European film festivals (Berlinale, Cinekid, BUFF, Olympia) and leading institutions (Eye Filmmuseum, Taartrovers, Spielfabrique, Film i Skåne).

The program will be held in English. If you are interested in participating, please fill out the registration form by October 24. Registration for the program is possible only with valid industry accreditation.

If you have any questions, please contact us at industry@boofest.cz.

How will the forum work?

The program will begin with keynotes all participants. Afterwards, everyone will be able to create their own program from parallel thematic round tables designed for smaller groups. The presentations and discussions will focus on topics such as the professionalization of teenage audiences, the accessibility of cinemas for young viewers, film education for children with special needs, and the possibilities of audiovisual education for the youngest viewers. There will also be discussions on video games in the cinema environment, about contemporary Swedish cinema for children and young people, or how to work with short films for children and young people from the perspective of film festivals and distribution.

Who will be speaking at the forum?

Among the invited guests are inspiring experts from leading film festivals such as Berlinale, the largest film and media festival for children Cinekid, or the BUFF Malmö Film Festival. Also represented will be institutions such as the Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam, one of the world's most important film museums; Taartroves, an innovative collective focusing on audiovisual education for preschoolers; Spielfabrique, a European leading force in the video game ecosystem; Film i Skåne, a Swedish regional film fund; and the European Children's Film Association. Renowned audience designer Ewa Bojanowska, who participated in the Oscar campaign for Paweł Łozinski's film The Balcony Movie, will also be in attendance.

The program will be moderated by Barbora Kucsa Prágerová (director of the Metro 70 cinema in Prostějov and vice-chair of the Association of Cinema Operators).
